Waterproof
Moisture is a silent and consistent deconstructor of a building. It can cause corrosive structural defects, compromise the integrity of the building and threaten the safety of its occupants. Corotop waterproof membranes provide effective protection against moisture.
Windproof
Our facade membranes provide effective protection against wind, which helps maintain a constant temperature inside the building. The windproofness of roof membranes additionally increases the durability of the roof, optimizing investment costs.
Vapor barriers
Vapour barrier foils protect the roof from excessive moisture and uncontrolled heat loss. They regulate the amount of water vapour in the roof cross-section. They work with highly vapour-permeable Corotop roof membranes. Tightly installed, they increase the efficiency of thermal insulation.
Steam removal
Our membranes are characterized by very high vapor permeability, i.e. a high diffusion resistance coefficient (Sd). What does this mean? The Corotop membrane with Sd 0.02m provides water vapor resistance equivalent to 2 centimeters of air. Why is water vapor removal so important? Excess moisture in a building can lead to mold, fungi, as well as serious damage to the building and health problems.
Anti-condensation
On the surface of a regular membrane, moisture collects in the form of small water droplets that can penetrate thermal insulation materials, reducing their parameters. We place an anti-condensation layer on the Corotop Open UV membrane. This is a special needle-punched nonwoven fabric that absorbs moisture and, under appropriate conditions, releases it into the ventilation space.
