§ 3 DATA PROCESSING WITH THE USE OF COOKIES

  1. The website uses two basic types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files stored on the end-user device until logging out, leaving a website or turning off software (Internet browser). Persistent cookies are stored on the end-user device for a time specified in cookie parameters or until deleted by the user.

§ 4 LEGAL BASIS

 
  1. The legal basis for processing data from cookies is Article 173 section 2 of the Act of 16 July 2004 Telecommunications Law – website user’s consent. Each user who does not consent to using cookies is obliged to modify the Internet browser’s settings.
  2. At any time, users may withdraw consent to using cookies by deleting cookies from their browser.
  3. Using the OPT-OUT function entails the blocking of certain functions and services. Blocked cookies may result in:
    1. lack of remembering the user setting by websites,
    2. lack of matching ads to the user’s interests,
    3. login forms and password fields will not remember user details.

  2. All cookies on the user’s device can be deleted. Cookies are deleted once the browsing history is cleared. Saved data, logins, website preferences may be lost.

  4. Cookies on websites can also be blocked. Once cookies are blocked, certain services or functions may not work properly.

§ 6 THIRD PARTY SERVICES

 
  1. The website uses Google Analytics tools with which information on user’s visits is collected. The Google Analytics service helps analyse user activity on the website and then align the offer to the user’s needs.
  2. The website uses the Google Ads tool which allows to display ads in the Google search engine and on the sites being part of the Google advertising network.
  3. The website also uses DoubleClick and Facebook. These tools are used for advertising purposes. Thanks to this, ads will be aligned to user preferences.
  4. On our website, there are also icons referring to our fanpages, e.g. Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn. The user may obtain information on the purpose and scope of collecting data on social websites from providers of social websites.

§ 7 DATA TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES

Personal data may be transferred to third countries. Transfer to third countries may take place in connection with sharing data collected from third-party providers. In this case, data are transferred to a third country in relation to which, pursuant to the European Commission’s decision, an adequate data protection level has been confirmed or with the use of typical contractual clauses endorsed by the European Commission.
